Jaipur Jewelry Show declared next year theme

Jaipur Jewelry show 2009 organizers have declared theme of the next year on Sunday evening at Entertainment Paradise. MS. Beena Kak, Torism Minister of Rajasthan was the chief guest of the occasion. Kundan Meena is declared as the theme of next year, the year 2010.


Kundan Meena is a very special art of Jaipur. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, founder of Jaipur brought this art from Persia and introduced it to Jaipur. Jaipur is pioneer in this very art of Jewelry since then. Bhuramal Rajmal Surana is pioneer in this promoting the art since centuries. 

Jaipur Jewelry show 2009 is an event continuing for seven years. Tanzenite is the theme of this year.

Gemstones treatment center in Jaipur

A new treatment center for gemstones is established in Sitapura industrial area of Jaipur, Rajasthan by Gem and Jewelry Export Promotion Council of India.

Initially it will act as heat treatment plant. Jaipur Jewelers (Jewelers) need not to go to Bangkok in Thailand for the purpose of heat treatment now onwards.
